Synopsis: Poor Little Ghoul

Paranormal investigators Brett and Liz find themselves back in over their heads when a forest hunt for a roadkill-eating creature offers up a little surprise. Back home with their ghoulish house guest, it becomes clear there’s more to this investigation than either of them thought. Worse than that, Brett’s own fate is linked to the little ghoul’s.

So it’s back out on the road, with plenty of time for pit stops with a greedy ex, a convention of ghost hunters, partying with fake vampires, and even drinking and fighting alongside good ole Uncle Gonzo. But as the investigation goes deeper, and unseen connections come to light, Brett finds there’s much more at stake than getting through a rough patch with Liz.

A rescue mission. A race for a cure. New friends and old adversaries. Unbreakable bonds and supernatural danger. It’s going to be a wild ride. Can the friends save the nearly undead tween? Can she and Brett stop themselves from …Sinking Down?

Sinking Down is slated to come out in eBook next week, with print to follow within one week later. Sinking Down stars ghost hunters Brett and Liz, along with good ole “Uncle Gonzo”. This time, instead of being chased by ghosts, they’re on a cross-country race to save a poor little ghoul who’s been kidnapped. Lots of surprises await, including Vampire LARPers (live action roleplayers) on a beach! This book also features the debut appearance of Skye, the main character of the spinoff series Tipsy Fairy Tales (to be published by SSP in 2014/2015).

The artwork was created by the award-winning Bonnie Wasson, who has been the artist for covers and interiors on the Road Ghosts series.

Seventh Star Press Proudly Announces Eric Garrison as Newest Member of Its Author Family

Seventh Star Press is proud to announce the addition of Eric Garrison to its author family with a six book deal that will bring his paranormal, humor-laced, fantastical tales to reading audiences everywhere.  The first three books scheduled to be published comprise the Road Ghosts series, with the first title, Four ’til Late, slated for a late spring/early summer release in 2013.

The Road Ghosts series is a collection of fast-paced, paranormal adventure novels set on and around the highways of the American Midwest. The tales feature supernatural investigator Brett Nelson and his friends, who set out on a haunted road trip that leads to a world filled with ghosts, demons and even stranger things.

“I’ve wanted to work with Seventh Star Press because my author peers RJ Sullivan and Michael West spoke so highly of them, and because I liked what I saw of the publisher at conventions I attended,” Eric commented regarding his recent deal.  ”The organization is professional, as well as friendly and energetic. Seventh Star is growing with its authors, and the chance to work with them is exciting.”

Four ’til Late will see Eric paired with editor Joshua H. Leet, who will be handling the Road Ghosts series for SSP.  Interior and cover art from SSP’s award-winning artists will also be featured in all versions of the book, from a special limited hardcover edition to the trade paperback and eBook editions.

Eric lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife, stepdaughter, and, as he describes it, “an alarming number of cats.”  A paranormal enthusiast and home brewer, Eric is the author of dark fantasy and science fiction novels including the Road Ghosts series (Seventh Star Press) and Reality Check (Hydra Publications).

“The SSP family is very excited about having Eric aboard,” fellow SSP author Stephen Zimmer commented.  ”He fits right in with the kind of authors that we love, creative and hard-working, with a great attitude towards other authors and the publishing community.  I have no doubts that Road Ghosts is going to be a wonderful journey for readers to take part in.  Besides, SSP can now say it has a brewmaster in its family too!”
